Depression and Sub-Clinical Hearing Loss
Age-related hearing loss has been increasingly recognized as a risk factor for neurocognitive and neuropsychiatric dysfunction. An overview of hearing loss—its cause, prevalence, and how treatment—will be presented as an introduction. The course will provide a synopsis of research on the relationship between hearing and depression and conclude with recommendations and future research steps
