Digital Pathway - Bridging the Frontiers of Care in Patients with T2D and CKD: Interpreting the Data with Novel MR Antagonists to Improve Cardiorenal Outcomes

Recent advances in the understanding of CKD progression in patients with type 2 diabetes have opened up new avenues of treatment that can potentially address some of the challenges and decrease cardiorenal risk in these patients. Of note, novel non-steroidal mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists (MRAs) are important new agents in this setting and have been recently FDA approved. During this activity, experts will discuss the recent advances with nonsteroidal MRAs in patients with type 2 diabetes and CKD, as well as their potential application to patient care. The design of this activity ensures that these topics are presented in a format that is easy to follow, containing a mix of videos & resources, organized into different segments to facilitate learning.

This activity is part of CMHC's Diabetic Kidney Disease Digital Education Hub.
