The Potential Role of the Type 3 Adenosine Receptor Modulators (A3RMs) in the Management of Pain
Adenosine is a ubiquitous signaling molecule that has several physiological roles. Subtypes are associated with analgesia and have anti-inflammatory properties. We will discuss the unique role of the adenosine type 3 receptor in animal models of pain and emerging evidence of analgesia in human studies.
