Misled by UnSAID NSAID Dread? Instead Spread This Thread Inside Your Head

New evidence for efficacy and adverse effects that will impact clinical practice will be delivered in a succinct digestible format for frontline providers.  NSAIDs remain the cornerstone of pain management for numerous inflammatory, connective tissue, and autoimmune disorders and are widely utilized in both Rx and OTC formulations.  This session will highlight the current state of the evidence, updates to guidelines, and new formulations with particular focus on the last two years since our previous update.  NSAIDs are widely misunderstood or utilized inappropriately exaggerating adverse effects and expectations of benefit.  The key to avoid NSAID Dread is an accurate understanding of developments in NSAID evidence and the ability to put that into perspective to assist frontline providers in appropriate use for their patients.
