Nutraceuticals, including dietary supplements and food alternatives, have become popularized as alternative treatments to many pain conditions. Over-the-counter medications (OTC) are readily available for patients to self-treat, and pain from osteoarthritis is one1 of the common indications for patients mayto seek OTC care. for is pain from osteoarthritis.
