This session will review the nurse anesthesia specialty path and practice in advanced pain management. Highlights include the educational progression from specialty training to academic based fellowships and a subspecialty board certification in Nonsurgical Pain Management (NSPM-C). A detailed look into a day in the life of a pain management Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will be provided, along with interdisciplinary teamwork and multimodal treatment therapies in advanced pain care.
