Who asks for and provides curbside consults? We all do! Why do practitioners request a curbside consult of another practitioner? To confirm what they believe they already know, to get a quick answer to a question, to continue their medical education, to determine if a formal consultation is called for, and to negotiate an appropriate course of treatment for a particular patient. This fast-paced presentation will review the who, why, where, when, and what of curbside consults.
